  • Refer to website resource – Pool Locations (swim meets)

3.       How do swimmers sign-up for upcoming meets?

  • After meet information and events have been uploaded to the website, the meet will be opened for sign-up and an email invitation with sign-up link sent to active members.
  • Refer to website resources – sign-up tutorial.
  • Note – the BlueFins sign-up deadline will be several days BEFORE the host club’s deadline to allow for administrative processing and submission to the host.  All BlueFins swimmers’ entries are submitted as one package.
  • Questions may be left in the “notes” field within the meet sign-up or directed to a coach as needed.

4.       How are events selected for swimmers?

  • Swimmers/Families select events for the majority of swim meets at the time of sign-up.
  • Coaches select events for some smaller dual meets for 12&U swimmers.
  • When in doubt, please talk to your swimmer’s coach(es) or email the coaches at [email protected] for advice.

5.       Are there fees for swim meets?

  • Some smaller dual meets have a nominal fee.
  • Invitational and Championship Meets have a deck (entry) fee plus individual event and relay fees. These vary by meet and are posted in each meet announcement.
  • The Club includes payment for meet fees when submitting entries. Fees are posted to family accounts and billed to credit card on file on the first day of each month.
  • The Club charges an additional team meet fee for participating BlueFins swimmers for each meet.

6.       Where are results posted?

  • Once validated, meet results are posted on the Niagara LSC website, and are uploaded into the BlueFins website and the OnDeck mobile platform for member viewing.
  •  Registered BlueFins become members of USA Swimming. Official swim results are maintained in USA Swimming’s SWIMS database and may be viewed by swimmers by logging into their SWIMS account.
