Meet Entry Procedure
All meet entries should be emailed to
bluefinsmeets@yahoo.com. The duty of receiving and submitting meet entries
is shared among 3-4 people; this will eliminate the need for parents to contact
multiple individuals to submit entries.
The email should include:
name of the meet in the subject line
swimmer’s name
event number and name of the event(s) they are entering
Do not request entry into relays. Coaches determine all relay entries. If the
swimmer is not available for relays indicate this in the email.
We will send confirmation that the email has been received. All fees will be
charged to the swim account.
Invitational Meets – Watch for announcements via
email. As meet information becomes available, these emails include a link to the
meet information packet on the Niagara District website. Please read the
instructions in these packets carefully. The announcement email also includes a
deadline for when the meet entries are due (do NOT go by the deadline in the
meet entry packet). It takes time to assemble all the entries and prepare them
for submission to the sponsoring club; therefore no late entries will be
accepted.
Junior Meets – see signup sheet at the pool. Do
not email Junior Meet entries. Meet entries are managed entirely by the
coaches.
